Highlights

Immanuel Lutheran School of Orange offers quality early childhood education (ECE) and Pre-Kindergarten programs for children between the ages of two to five years old.

Our structured programs are designed to provide children a strong foundation for individual developmental needs in an exciting and caring environment.

Children are encouraged to explore their growing minds with developmentally appropriate goals. Our accredited professional staff nurtures children academically, spiritually, emotionally, socially and physically.

Our ECE curriculum consists of activities planned around weekly themes to frame exploration of basic facts and skills. We encourage observation and memory retention. We open the world around them to exploration and discovery.

Sample Curriculum

This is a sample of how our structured program are designed. The actual schedule is flexible depending on the needs of the class and individual students.

8:10a – 8:30a	Children arrive, free play
8:30a – 9:00a	“Circle Time” for learning calendar, stories and songs; Chapel Day on Thursdays
9:00a – 9:20a	Jesus Time
9:20a – 9:40a	Teacher guided activities in language, science and social studies
9:40a – 10:00a	Restroom Break and Snack
10:00a – 11:00a	Outdoor play time
11:00a – 11:15a	Storytime
11:15a – 11:45a	Teacher guided activities in art, music, math, sensory and motor skills development
11:45a – 12:00a	Clean up time, Closing prayer, and dismissal

ECE Program 1: For 2-3 year olds

Pre-K Program: For 4-5 year olds

Five-Day Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
All programs; mandatory for students enrolled in Pre-K program
Three-Day Schedule
Monday – Wednesday – Friday; 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
ECE Program 1 and 2 only
Two-Day Schedule
Tuesday – Thursday; 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
ECE Program 1 only

Daycare

Daycare available 6:30 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. for regular school days (Monday through Friday). In addition to regular school days, we also offer daycare during administrative days (teacher development/training), parent-teacher conferences, and selected holidays (contact the office).

Entrance Requirements

Placement depends upon student’s age as of September 1 of the current year.
All students are required to meet all health standards as mandated by the State of California.
Students are not required to be potty-trained for admission.

Immanuel Lutheran School of Orange is fully accredited by the National Lutheran School Accreditation Association (NLSA) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The school and all teachers are licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services as required by law.
